Ashah of Ashah Photography has agreed to do a day of mini sessions to raise money for Momentum!!!
Here is the deal:
-One day only *Jan 8th*
-$50 donation
-15 minute photo shoot at River Park downtown
-Online Proofing
-1 digital file of your choice emailed to you with shared copyright release
-Must pay $50 by credit card, cash, or check to hold time slot (it is non-refundable)
This is a really amazing deal and Ashah has offered to give ALL proceeds to Momentum! *She's so Awesome!! Of course, Ashah would tell you that she is happy to use her talents for the Kingdom. (that's why we love her)*

Fundraising :)
We are happy to announce that we made $378 with our Bake Sale Fundraiser!!!!
Thanks to everyone who baked, who worked at each location, and those who bought from us!
Thanks to God for making everything possible and for continually working in Momentum!
We are in the process of planning more fundraising....

The Scoop on Momentum/ Bake Sale Shout Out
Last post, I gave a summary of Momentum> what it's about and when it is. Now, I would like to give a more detailed look at the event.
Momentum: What Moves us Forward is a two night youth rally on abstinence.
Night One will be about sexual abstinence, while the night Two will confront drug and alcohol abstinence.
Each night we will began with a worship service>
Night one: Fusion will be playing. Night two: What Held You There will lead us in worship. We are so blessed to have these guys helping us. They are so graciously willing to use their God-given talents for the Kingdom. Our number one prayer for this event is that God be glorified. We believe these bands share our desire.
Our speakers for each night are being determined as I type this. God has been working on this a lot longer than we have. We are praying for wisdom in this area of the event. Some people and organizations have come to our attention. Pray with us for wisdom. We need a speaker for each night who share our #1 goal of seeing God glorified and lives changed.
There will be food each night, t-shirts, and door prizes, maybe. ;)

Momentum: What Moves us Forward (Momentum for short) is an abstinence youth rally set for Jan 23-24th 2011 inMilledgeville , Ga.
The vision for Momentum was born in the hearts of three individual ladies separate of each other. God in His sovereignty begin the process in bringing these women together. This vision was to redeem the marriage bed, to see youth stand up for abstinence of all kinds, and to witness youth come to Christ. Once the vision was realized among all three ladies, Momentum begin to take shape. From there, Momentum has been on a fast track forward *no pun intended* ;) **The vision has grown, along with our team** God has accomplished things according to His timetable (something we are learning He does often). We are amazed and humbled by way we have seen God work in the planning of this event.
This blog will be a place for us to document Momentum's progress, to ask for prayer and support, and to bring awareness of the beauty of abstinence. We will be updating weekly. These updates will help you guys know how to pray for us. Please visit often to learn about what is going on in the world of Momentum!
